Wizkid stirred the pot by engaging fans and playfully trolling fellow artist Davido in the process.

On his X account, Wizkid shared a cryptic message expressing his reluctance to speak out despite having plenty on his mind. “Every day I get things to say but my mouth no good,” the tweet read.

Amidst interactions with fans, one follower urged him to release new music, to which Wizkid responded with a tongue-in-cheek retort, asking, “Is it by force?” Another fan pushed for new music, prompting Wizkid to humorously demand begging, using a recent viral video of Davido in tears as an example.

“Beg me like this. Send video,” Wizkid posted alongside the viral clip of Davido crying.

The post swiftly ignited reactions from fans, many of whom were taken aback by Wizkid’s cheeky dig at Davido.

Others speculated about potential animosity between the two music icons, especially given their recent camaraderie at a party in December 2023, during which Davido even promoted Wizkid’s upcoming album on his X account.
