Atiku Gets Major Boost, 39 Political Parties Adopt Him As Their Candidate for 2019 Elections

Former Vice President and PDP Presidential aspirant Atiku has gotten a major boost in his bid for 2019 General Election as Thirty-nine (39) political parties under the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) has announced their readiness to adopt him as their candidate.

The parties under the umbrella of CUPP, led by the PDP said they would adopt him as consensus candidate for the election in order to dislodge President Muhammad Buhari in 2019.

In a statement issued late on Sunday, October 7, by CUPP spokesman, Ikenga Ugochinyere, said the process of his adoption would start this week.

okay.ng recalls that the Former vice president, Atiku, won the PDP primary election to emerge as its presidential candidate for the 2019 presidential election in a 2-day national convention held in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
