Oshoala-signs-for-Arsenal-Mar2016

Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala has joined Arsenal Ladies from rivals Liverpool Ladies.

The Nigerian has been a subject of transfer to the Gunners having impressed in the English Women topflight where she scored three goals in 12 appearances for the Reds.

“Asisat is a fantastic talent and will be a great addition to our squad,” said manager Pedro Martínez Losa.

“She is quick, with excellent feet and has proven she can score goals so it’s very positive she has decided to join us.”

While at the Meadow Park, Oshoala will wear jersey no.12 and would compete with Chloe Kelly, Danielle Carter, Kelly Smith, Rachel Yankey and Natalia Pablos for a regular place in Gunners’ first eleven.
