Dr. Muhammad Dahiru, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), predicted that Plateau State residents would cast a sizable majority of their votes for the party in the general election of 2018.

The APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu is clearly qualified, according to Dahiru, who claimed that Nigerians are now more politically aware and will only vote for people who will uphold the country’s democracy and advance the economy in the upcoming general election.

Okay.ng learnt that he stated this during a stakeholders’ gathering with 29 support groups from the Dadin Kowa community in the state’s Jos South local government council after its members openly endorsed Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda for both the APC’s presidential candidate and its candidate for governor of Plateau State.

“We in the APC have the best candidates, and selling them would not be difficult,” he said. Both Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our candidates for governor, have a successful track record. We would campaign everywhere in the state to support them and other candidates running on our platform, and we would make sure they won.

Earlier, Hon. Pam Botmang, the APC’s running mate for governor of Plateau State, referred to the Dadin Kowa community as his home.

In the upcoming general election, Botmang noted, he is confident that the neighborhood would support the party with a sizable majority of votes.
