APC to Conduct Fresh Guber Primaries Election to Substitute Late Audu Abubakar.

All Progressives Congress, APC, Tuesday said it would organize fresh primary election amongst interesting contestants to choose a replacement for its fallen gubernatorial candidate, Late Abubakar Audu in Kogi state supplementary election.
Ahead of the primaries however, the national chairman of the party, Chief John Oyegun, it was learnt, met behind closed with most of governorship aspirants who participated in the previous primaries yesterday for reasons yet unknown.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC had slated December 5, 2015 for the supplementary election and wrote APC accordingly.
Briefing Journalists at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja, Oyegun said that INEC has officially communicated to the party of the new date for supplementary election, also agreeing that the party was at liberty to provide substitute.
Oyegun also commiserated with the family of the deceased, the people of state state and the APC family at large.
