The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fired back at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), denying claims that its policies are anti-people, Okay.ng reports.

According to APC Director of Publicity, Bala Ibrahim, the party’s goal is to uplift the socio-economic well-being of Nigerians, not harm them.

Ibrahim emphasized that APC is a progressive party focused on bringing positive change and dividends of democracy to the people. He also stressed that democracy thrives with constructive opposition, not destructive criticism.

The APC’s response comes after PDP Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara, expressed concerns over Nigeria’s deteriorating socio-economic situation, blaming APC’s policies. However, Ibrahim countered that the country suffered under PDP’s leadership, and Nigerians are now beginning to understand the meaning of change.
