The highly anticipated 10th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) is currently underway at the prestigious Eko Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.

The prestigious event has brought together the crème de la crème of African cinema, with talented artists and filmmakers bubbling with excitement as they grace the stage to receive their well-deserved accolades.

This year’s edition has been particularly competitive, with several notable contenders vying for top honors. Leading the pack is the critically acclaimed film “Over the Bridge,” which has garnered an impressive 12 nominations across categories such as Best Movie, Best Director, and Best Lead Actress.

Hot on its heels is the captivating black-and-white fantasy thriller “Mami Wata,” which secured 11 nominations, solidifying its position as a strong contender.

Additionally, the gripping dramas “Breath of Life” and “Jagun Jagun – The Warrior” have both earned 10 nominations each, making them formidable contenders in various categories.
