Alicia Keys, American singer-songwriter, has been picked to host the 2019 Grammy Awards.

The 5-time Grammy® Award-winning singer/producer/songwriter will host the award show which is slated to hold next month.

“I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I know what it feels like to be proud of the work that you’ve put in and to be recognized for it,” Keys said in a video she shared on social media after being picked as the award show host.

“I feel like it’s the perfect opportunity for me to give the light back and lift people up — especially all the young women that are nominated.

“To me, it feels like sister vibes,” she added in excitement.
