Akwa Ibom State University, AKSU academic calendar for the  second semester, 2016/2017 academic session.
This is to inform all the students of the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) that the Management of the institution has released the academic calendar for the second semester, 2016/2017 academic session.

AKSU ACADEMIC CALENDAR – 2ND SEMESTER.

  1. MONDAY, JUNE 12, 2017 – SECOND SEMESTER/REGISTRATION BEGINS
  2. TUESDAY, JUNE 13, 2017 – SECOND SEMESTER LECTURES BEGINS
  3. FRIDAY, AUGUST 11, 2017 – END OF REGISTRATION
  4. MONDAY, AUGUST 14, 2017 – LATE REGISTRATION BEGINS
  5. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2017 – END OF LATE REGISTRATION
  6. MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2017 – DEGREE EXAMINATIONS BEGIN
  7. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 04, 2017 – SESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS BEGINS
  8. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2017 – DEGREE EXAMINATIONS ENDS
  9. FRIDAY, OCTOBER 20, 2017 – SESSIONAL EXAMINATIONS ENDS
  10. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2017 – STUDENTS DEPART
SUMMARY
Lectures – 15-16 weeks
Degree examinations – 10 days
Sessional examinations – 14 days
*The Academic Calendar is to run concurrently at all the University Campuses
