Senate President, Bukola Saraki today said that Aisha Buhari’s BBC interview has vindicated him.

Saraki had in June said that the Muhammadu Buhari administration had been hijacked. According to the Senate President, the fact that Mrs. Buhari could come out to openly express reservations about her husband’s appointees showed that his earlier argument that the government had been hijacked, was in good faith.

Saraki speaking through his media aide, Bamikole Omisore, on Friday morning said, “Aisha Buhari and Bukola Saraki both have the best interest of President Buhari at heart”.

”To say there is #govtwithingovt is now an understatement. What baffles me the most is the fact that they don’t even share same ideology. Quick excuse is that our political parties are not mature enough to run on ideology but there are basic principles in governance & politics”

”Folks who campaigned 4 Buhari and APC because they believe in him & manifestation of APC are being sidelined for those who don’t.

”I honestly believe President Buhari means well for Nigeria but he must check the hands that are handling things for him.”
