Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa, has put pen to paper on a new four-year deal with CSKA Moscow.

The Aminchi Football Academy of Jos product joined the Russian club in 2012 from VVV Venlo in Holland and has now extended his stay until 2019.

CSKA’s General Director, Roman Babaev, revealed that an agreement has been reached after the negotiations went well.

“Negotiations went very smoothly. During the talks we were concentrating on technical details, as Musa’s intention to continue performing in red-blues shirt was obvious from the first day,” Babaev told the club website.

“We are delighted that Ahmed prolonged his contract with the club.”

Musa has won two Russian league titles, a Russian Cup and two Russian Super Cups, during his three-and-half years with the club.

He has scored a total of 36 goals in 124 matches.
