Acting President Osinbajo Approves Appointment of 19 New Judges | SEE FULL LIST

Nigeria’s Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday approved the appointment of 19 new judges for the National Industrial Court.

The judges were appointed following recommendation by the National Judicial Council.

The newly appointed judges will be sworn in on July 14 at the Supreme Court, Abuja, according to a statement by the NJC’s Director of information, Soji Oy.

The judges as listed in the NJC statement are as listed below

Namtari Mahmood Abba – Adamawa State

Nweneka Gerald Ikechi – Rivers State

Kado Sanusi – Katsina State

Opeloye Ogunbowale A. – Lagos State

Essien Isaac Jeremiah – Akwa-Ibom State

Arowosegbe Olukayode Ojo – Ondo State

Ogbuanya Nelson S. Chukwudi – Enugu State

Bashir Zaynab Mohammed – Niger State

Galadima Ibrahim Suleiman – Nasarawa State
