In a move that aims to strengthen public relations and communication within the Nigeria Police Force, the Acting Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, has reappointed Assistant Commissioner of Police Olumuyiwa Adejobi as the Force’s Public Relations Officer.

This decision comes following Adejobi’s recent promotion to the rank of ACP by the Police Service Commission.

The reappointment was officially confirmed through a posting communication bearing reference number TH.5361/FS/FHQ/ABJ/V.4/649, dated Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

The communication, issued from the office of the Force Secretary, solidified Adejobi’s role in leading the Force’s public relations efforts.

He served as the Police Public Relations Officer in the Ogun State Police Command from 2008 to 2016. Subsequently, he assumed the role of PPRO Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos, in 2016, and later served as PPRO for the Lagos State Police Command from September 2020 to August 2021.
