Former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh is to appear before the House of Representatives Committee on Sports to tell his side of the story that led to his recent resignation from the job.

He is to appear before the committee on Thursday in the nation’s capital, Abuja.

Oliseh, an outspoken individual, is expected to shed more light on the circumstances that led to his resigning via Twitter, in a way that could shame top dogs in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Already, it was learnt that many of the top guns in the glass house are already jittery, as they are unsure of the surprise Oliseh may spring on them at the hearing.

The former Eagles captain had: complained of violations of contract terms and non-payment of his salaries, entitlements and those of his assistants; protested the sacking of his assistant Tijani Babangida, complained of non-fulfilment of the NFF’s promise to get him an accommodation in Abuja and about not receiving help from the NFF to prosecute the double-header AFCON 2017 qualifiers against the Pharoahs of Egypt, among others

Speaking about the committee hearing, a source told Vanguard: “You know Oliseh, he will not hold back anything, he will give details of how some top officials made sure they frustrated him because they were not the ones who facilitated his appointment.

“You should expect him to shoot from the hips.”
