The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Muhammadu Buhari today chose former attorney general and commissioner for Justice in Lagos state, Yemi Osinbajo as his running mate.
He revealed at the presentation of Osinbajo at the national secretariat of the APC the Abuja and formally announced his decision.
He said his choice was influenced by the people within and outside the party.
He called, Mr. Osinbajo was picked because (In Buhari’s words)“ he is a man of impeccable integrity”.
We had earlier reported on why Buhari and APC chose Osinbajo over other candidates after many meetings with prominent major stakeholders in the party.
Osinbajo has worked with former governor of Lagos State, Ahmed Tinubu, who was expected to run with Buhari.
