The All Progressives Congress (APC) has picked the serving Secretary to the Lagos State Government (SSG), Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule, as the running mate to the party’s governorship candidate in the state, Akinwunmi Ambode.

It was reliably learnt that Dr Adebule was the natural choice for the party when the leadership finally agreed to give the slot to a Muslim female.

According to an impeccable source within the party, “With her high religious background and close affinity with the Muslim community in the state, having being a prominent member of the Muslim Students Society (MSS).

“Apart from that, she has a rich political experience in her Resume and she has indeed distinguished herself in her current role as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG),” the source added.
