To meet up with the established time line of bringing to a successful conclusion the fight against terrorism and insurgency in the country, the Nigerian Army has appointed a new Commander for #OperationLafiyaDole, He is Major General Yusha’u Mahmood Abubakar. Until this appointment, he was the Commander of Nigerian Army Armoured Corps. This was made known by the Nigerian Army through their twitter handle.

Although it is a unified command coordinating 3 and 7 Divisions of the Nigerian Army as well as other elements of #OperationLafiyaDole 5/7
