Despite pleas , the Indonesian government has made all plans to execute the convicted 9 drug traffickers this weekend .

The date – April 29 – became official when a local funeral director in Cilacap, the nearest port to Nusakambangan, or Death Island, was instructed to inscribe the names of those to be shot by firing squad and the date of their deaths.

Australians ,Chan and Sukumaran both refused to sign their execution warrants when they were given 72 hours notice of their deaths during official proceedings on Saturday, saying they believed it would be unjust to kill them.

‘I have helped other inmates as much as I can and I still do and that’s not me talking, you will hear that from a lot of people, the ones I have helped,’ Chan said.

The pair were also asked to outline their last requests, with Chan asking for extra time in church to pray with his family and Sukumaran asking to be able to paint as much as possible before his death
On Saturday, the Bali Nine duo and other death row inmates were given 72 hours notice ahead of their deaths.
