El-Rufai Leads In Major Polling Units by Wide Margin

Counting of votes are still ongoing, interim results indicate that the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-rufai, is leading in major polling units across the state.

According to the figures, Elrufai is by far ahead of his People’s Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Governor Ramalan Yero.

Results from Kawo polling unit 031, APC scored 554 votes, PDP 09 votes, Tudun Wada polling unit 031, APC got 255, PDP 01, Kabala Kapuwa, APC got 673 votes, PDP 09, Tudun Nupawa, APC scored 286 votes, PDP 03 votes, Madawaki PU 022, APC got 546, PDP had 17 votes, Makarfi road, Kawo PU 029, APC 495 votes, PDP 21 votes.

While at Kachia town PU 009, APC 274 votes, PDP 161 votes, Kofar Sarki Badiko PU 009, APC 188 votes, PDP 17 votes, Ungwan Rimi PU 025, APC 207 votes, PDP 47 votes, Gabasawa PU 023, APC 270 votes, PDP 31 votes, Ungwan Sarkin PU 024, APC 360 votes, PDP 42 votes.
