The Nigerian government, led by President Bola Tinubu, has injected over N2.2 trillion into infrastructure projects nationwide, with 260 palliative road projects completed, the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, announced today.

Speaking to the press, Umahi praised President Tinubu as the “Roadmaster” and a “Man of Uncommon Courage” for his dedication to infrastructure development. He revealed that 440 road projects are currently ongoing, all approved under the President’s directive.

“In just two years, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has completed 260 palliative road projects nationwide, costing N208 billion,” Umahi said. He added that 29 major infrastructure projects totaling over N2 trillion are underway.

The Minister also disclosed that four significant “Legacy Projects” are in progress, with plans for Tinubu to commission some of these projects in May 2025, marking his second year in office.
