In a significant move for the Oyo royal court, Alaafin Oba Akeem Owoade has reshuffled his inner circle, appointing Rotimi Osuntola as special adviser and Bayo Ajibade as chief of staff, okay.ng reports.

Osuntola, who previously held the chief of staff position, expressed gratitude for his new role, saying, “It is with deep humility that I formally acknowledge and accept the new responsibility bestowed upon me by His Imperial Majesty, Iku Baba Yeye, The Alaafin of Oyo, as Special Adviser to the Throne.”

He reflected on his journey with the monarch, emphasizing the honor of assembling a formidable team and ensuring a smooth coronation. Osuntola pledged continued dedication to Oyo and the Yoruba nation, encouraging collective support for Ajibade as he steps into his new role.
