Former Senator Shehu Sani has paid tribute to the late Chief Omololu Olunloyo, commending his exceptional academic accomplishments and lifelong contributions to knowledge. In a statement shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Senator Sani acknowledged the late statesman’s rare intellectual feats.

“Late Chief Omololu Olunloyo’s academic records in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry remains a challenge to intellectuals, scholars and students of all generations,” Senator Sani stated.

Chief Olunloyo, known for his distinguished career as a mathematician, politician, and one-time governor of the old Oyo State, was often described as a man whose academic brilliance set him apart from his peers. His proficiency across multiple scientific disciplines stood as a testament to his intellectual depth.

By referring to Olunloyo’s academic records as a “challenge,” Senator Sani highlighted the rarity and enduring impact of his academic excellence. The phrase underscores the high standard the late scholar set in the fields of science, which continues to inspire both present and future generations.
