Veteran Nigerian singer Konga has publicly called out Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, accusing him of using his lines and rhythm in his songs. Konga specifically pointed out that Burna Boy name-dropped him in the Sungba Remix and allegedly borrowed his style in the track Update.

In a video message shared on his TikTok page, Konga demanded compensation from Burna Boy, suggesting a collaboration as a form of repayment. He said, “I’m calling Burna Boy out. This video is for you because you name-dropped me in your song with Asake (Sungba Remix). In your new release, I noticed you also used some of my lines and even my rhythm.”

Konga acknowledged Burna Boy’s admiration for his craft but insisted on proper recognition. “It’s obvious that you like my vibe and you’ve been playing with a whole lot of my flow. I appreciate that, but I want you and Tiwa Savage on the remix of my song Kabakaba Remix. I’ll be expecting your feedback. I call you out in peace,” he added.

The veteran singer’s call-out has sparked discussions among fans, with many curious to see how Burna Boy will respond to the request.
