FirstBank, West Africa’s premier financial institution, is set to commence construction of its new 40-story green-certified Head Office Building in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos.

The groundbreaking ceremony, scheduled to take place soon, will mark the beginning of an ambitious project that is expected to become Nigeria’s tallest building and a benchmark for sustainable banking infrastructure in Africa.

Designed with eco-friendly and technologically advanced features, the iconic skyscraper will reinforce FirstBank’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and customer-centric financial services. The structure will set new industry standards by integrating green-certified technology to reduce operational costs and promote sustainable business practices.

Speaking on the upcoming project, Olusegun Alebiosu, CEO of FirstBank Group, highlighted the bank’s commitment to driving economic growth and sustainable development across Africa.
