Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has revealed that his life has taken a positive turn since the tragic passing of his son.

In an interview with media personality Akin Abolade, Aloba attributed his improved circumstances to the combined efforts of Mohbad’s spirit and divine intervention. He said his late son had planned to do many things for him before his untimely death but was unable to fulfill those intentions.

“Let me just say yes, my life got better after Mohbad’s death because he is my friend. He had it in plan to do many things for me but they didn’t allow him to do them,” Aloba said.

He disclosed that he has received various forms of assistance from well-meaning individuals, including a car and other essential items, which he believes were orchestrated by his late son’s spirit and God.

“After his death, it was the spirit of Mohbad, and that of God combined together that began to send people to assist me. Even the car and everything I have now, it was people that gave them to me, and it is beyond ordinary. So it is the spirit of Mohbad and God that led those people to give me all I have now,” he added.

Aloba lamented that Mohbad was unable to fulfill his plans for him while alive but expressed gratitude for the unexpected support he has received since the singer’s passing.

“Those were the things he was meant to be doing for me, but they didn’t allow him to do them,” he said.
