Renowned Nollywood actor and filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has announced the passing of his beloved mother, Omoladun Afolayan, who has died at the age of 81.

Afolayan shared the heart-wrenching news on his Instagram page on Saturday, posting photos that highlighted cherished moments with his late mother, including snapshots of her surrounded by her grandchildren.

“It is hard to accept but she surely lived a good life Our mother, Maami Omoladun Ayanladun Afolayan, has gone to rest. (1943-2024),” he wrote.

“She is survived by children and grandchildren. Please keep us in your prayers. Omo re a gbeyin gbogbo was.”

Omoladun Afolayan leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished family memories, deeply impacting her children and grandchildren.
