Dino Melaye has successfully cleared his name in the twelfth and final case brought against him by the Federal Government, putting an end to a six-year legal combat.

The former Senator was acquitted of two charges of providing false information regarding an alleged assassination attempt on his life in 2017 by Justice Sylvanus Oriji at the FCT High Court in Maitama.

Melaye expressed his gratitude towards his legal team and emphasized his unwavering faith in divine justice, stating, “Justice served after six years. Justice delayed is never justice denied. God alone be praised. SEN. DINO MELAYE 12 – FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND IGP 0. 12 CASES ALL WON BY GOD.”

This marks the end of a long legal saga that began in 2018, with Melaye facing accusations of falsely implicating individuals in the alleged assassination plot.
