According to a statement by Olufemi Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd, the pricing of PMS is now determined through negotiations between involved parties, in compliance with the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA). This marks a departure from the previous system where the government directly set petrol prices.

“The pricing is subject to negotiations conducted on an arm’s length basis between the parties involved,” Soneye stated.
