The leader of the Ijaw Nation, Chief Edwin Clark, has summon the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetoku , to arrest the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike , for his threat to set fire to the governed states by the governors of the people Democratic Party.

It would be recalled that Wike , while speaking at the PDP secretariat in Port Harcourt, the state capital, on Saturday during the state congress of the party, warned PDP governors to stay out of the party’s affairs in Rivers.

In a press conference on Thursday, Clark said the minister’s comments amounted to “a blatant disrespect to the person of President Bola Tinubu, who appointed him,” describing his comments as ” thawed ” and added that his comments were a form of treason. they were likely to incite violence in the country.

He noted that the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore , and protesters of the #EndBadGovernance movement were arrested for similar offences , adding that the IGP should do the same to the FCT minister and do retract his statements.
