During a courtesy visit by Senator Oluremi Tinubu to the Emir’s palace in Kano on Monday, Emir Aminu Ado Bayero urged her to use her direct line of communication with the President to address the pressing issues facing the nation. He emphasized the severity of hunger and starvation in the country, urging urgent action from the government.

While appreciating the First Lady’s visit to Kano for the opening of a Faculty of Law building at Maryam Abacha American University, the Emir highlighted the importance of addressing insecurity, particularly in the wake of recent threats.

He stressed the need for transparency regarding the purported relocation of CBN and FAAN offices to Lagos, calling for clear communication from the government to the Nigerian people.

Emir Bayero also commended Senator Tinubu for her efforts in child welfare and urged her to prioritize the Renewed Hope Initiative Pet Programme to alleviate the challenges faced by the underprivileged. He expressed concerns about girl child education and urged the First Lady to tackle the issue decisively.
