What You Need to Register for 2024 UTME

  • Active Phone Number: Candidates must possess an active phone number for the registration process. This number will be used to receive the profile code and, eventually, the examination results.
  • Email: Each candidate is required to create a functional email address dedicated to the registration. It is essential to remember the email password, as it will be used throughout the registration process.
  • National Identification Number (NIN): A valid NIN corresponding to the candidate’s name is mandatory for registration.
  • Registration Fee: Candidates opting for the mock examination will pay N7,700, while those bypassing the mock exam will pay N6,200. Foreign candidates will incur a registration fee of $30.
  • O’Level Certificate: Candidates must have their WAEC/NECO results for registration. Those awaiting results can use the awaiting result option, provided they take the exams in the current year.

Registration Procedure

To register for the 2024 UTME, candidates must follow these steps:

  • Get JAMB Profile Code: Obtain the JAMB profile code by sending “NIN” space “11-digit number” to 55010 (e.g., NIN (01234567890) to 55010).
  • Subject Combination: Confirm the correct subject combination for the intended course of study, with English Language being compulsory for all.
  • O’Level Requirements: Candidates need a minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/NECO, including Mathematics and English, and three other subjects relevant to their chosen course.
  • Accredited JAMB CBT Center: Register at an accredited JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) center to ensure the validity of the registration.
  • E-Pin: Acquire the essential e-pin for registration, available at registration centers, banks, or USSD partners.

Candidates are advised to proceed with caution and avoid unnecessary errors during the registration process to ensure a smooth and successful application.
