Train, BRT Staff Bus Accident in Lagos: Buhari Sympathizes with Victims

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his sadness and horror over the recent train and Lagos State BRT staff bus accident that occurred on Thursday in the Shogunle area of Ikeja.

In a statement issued by Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, President Buhari sympathized with all those who were involved in the accident.

He stated, “The accident at the level crossing involving the train and the BRT staff bus is distressing and extremely sad. I pray for the souls of the deceased and quick recovery of the many who were injured.”

The President also commended the Lagos State authorities and Federal Government agencies for their swift response in providing relief work to the victims of the accident.

The incident, which occurred at the railway crossing in the Shogunle area of Ikeja, involved a moving train and a Lagos State BRT staff bus.
