Buhari congratulates Chief Ikpea on 66th birthday, commends his business and philanthropic efforts

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Chief (Dr) Leemon Ikpea on the occasion of his 66th birthday.

Chief Ikpea is the Chairman and CEO of Lee Engineering and Construction Company, a local firm involved in oil and gas, engineering and construction, and manufacturing.

In a statement, President Buhari praised Chief Ikpea’s business successes and philanthropy, noting that he is a role model for Nigerian youth and an example of how entrepreneurship can be rewarding.

He also wished Chief Ikpea a long and healthy life, and further success in his service to God and humanity through his Agbonjagwe Foundation.

“The President rejoices with the Ewato, Esan South Local Government Area of Edo State native, his family, their friends and associates on the new age, joining them to glorify God for the gift of life, health, and business successes,” said Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

Chief Ikpea, who is also known as the Adolor of Ewato Kingdom and the Odonlagbon of Warri, recently marked the 31st anniversary of Lee Engineering and Construction Company, which has achieved numerous milestones in the industry.

“The National Honors Award winner is a point of reference to Nigerian youths that entrepreneurship pays, with attainments in areas of endeavor like oil, gas, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and many others,” Adesina added.

President Buhari also praised Chief Ikpea’s acts of philanthropy, stating that he “will continue to touch lives through acts of philanthropy, for which he is noted.”
