On the occasion of his seventh coronation anniversary, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has honored several members of his palace staff.
The palace spokesperson, Moses Olafare, in a statement on Saturday said, the monarch handed out appreciation letters and cash rewards to several deserving staff members.
One palace aide was awarded N300,000, while three other outstanding staff members each received one million naira.
One of them also won a car worth seven million naira as the star prize.
The Ooni also thanked his wife, the founder of Hopes Alive Initiative, for her work in fighting poverty and empowering the less privileged.
