A building in the Kogi State House of Assembly complex was gutted by fire.

Okay.ng understands that the inferno started in the early hours of Monday (today).

The Speaker of the House, Prince Mathew Kolawole, while speaking to journalists at the Assembly complex, said the House will allow security agencies to investigate the incident.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
