Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham manager has revealed that Eric Dier, Harry Winks, and Serge Aurier, will not be available for Tottenham clash with Liverpool at Anfield.

Eric Dier sustained an injury in England’s 5-0 win over the Czech Republic and was withdrawn from the squad ahead of the win over Montenegro.

Harry Winks remains absent due to a groin injury that saw him miss England’s Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Full-back Serge Aurier sustained an injury during Ivory Coast’s Africa Cup of Nations win over Rwanda last Saturday.

In a pre-match interview, Pochettino was asked about Dier’s condition and he said “He has been ruled out,”

“It’s not a big issue but he needs to recover from the problem he suffered against the Czech Republic with the national team.

“One week, 10, days, two weeks. We’ll see how it is going to improve. He was running today but we need to wait for the evolution.

“Every problem has a different evolution with a different player. We need to wait.

“We are going to assess him day-by-day but I don’t believe it will be longer than two weeks.”
