APC Clears Orji Kalu, Yusuf Haruna for Senate Primaries

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared the former Governor of Abia State, Uzor Oji Kalu and Yusuf Haruna to contest the Senate primaries in Abia and Kogi and Kogi State.

This was revealed in a press statement made available to okay.ng by APC acting Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena on Tuesday night stated, “The National Working Committee (NWC) APC has cleared the former governor of Abia State, Dr. Uzor Kalu and Yusuf A. Haruna to contest the Party’s Senate Primaries for Abia North and Kogi Central Senatorial districts respectively”.

If the aspirants emerge winners, the will fly the party’s flag in their respective states in the 2019 senatorial election accordingly.

The party has equally cleared other aspirants intending to represent their senatorial districts in the forthcoming general elections and all is ready for the contest in the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja.
