Super Eagles star, Kenneth Omeruo joins Leganes on loan from Chelsea

Spanish club, Leganes have completed the signing of sign Nigerian defender, Kenneth Omeruo on loan from Chelsea.

Omeruo completed his medical with Leganese, signed a year loan deal with a purchase option of €5m and 20% of a resale for Chelsea.

Omeruo, 24, spent last season on loan at Turkish club, Kasimpasa and is a subject of interest from the likes of
Goztepe, Bursaspor and Besiktas.

But the centre-back according to a report in Spain, will be playing in La Liga next season with Leganese adding him to their squad.

Omeruo is yet to play a competitive game for Chelsea since his arrival from Standard Liege in 2014.

He has also spent time on loan at Middlesbrough and Alayanspor.

The defender was part of Nigeria’s squad to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
