Abia State University Senate at its 223rd Regular meeting held on 31st January, 2018, decided to remind all undergraduate students, of the provision of the Revised Academic Regulation 2016, Chapter 3(1) which states that: “Normal registration period shall not exceed four weeks from the date of commencement of lectures”.

Lectures for the first Semester 2017/2018 academic session started on Monday, 30th October, 2017, and many students are yet to register.

Senate deliberated on the violation of the academic regulation by students and graciously approved that students, new and returning, be given additional two weeks from 31st January to 12th February, 2018, to register their courses for the first Semester, 2017/2018 academic session.

Failure to register their courses within this period, will attract sanctions of payment of late registration fee and non-admission into the examination halls for the upcoming 2017/2018 first Semester examination. Please be properly guided. Dr. (Mrs) Evelyn N. Iheukwumere Registrar.
