The Nigerian Army on Monday disclosed that its men killed three Boko Haram terrorists and recovered 200 cattle in Borno state.

The disclosure was made by Brig.-Gen. Sani Kukasheka, the Director of Army Public Relations, in a statement released in Maiduguri.

Kukasheka said the recovered cattle were earlier rustled in Makandari village, Kala Balge local government area of Borno state.

The exchange of fire took place on Saturday at Beneri village, resulting in the death of two of the insurgents and recovery of stolen cattle.
