The Senate of Federal University of Agriculture Markurdi (FUAM) had earlier took the decision that all school charges must be paid before the commencement of the 1st Semester 2016/2017 academic session examinations.

University Management in its wisdom, considered the current hardship faced by some students in complying with Senate directive and allowed students who were owing school charges to write their examinations.

Senate at its 285th Regular meeting held on Thursday 28th September, 2017 deliberated on the difficulty currently being experienced by University Administration in the running of the University due to non-payment of school charges by students and decided that:

i) All returning students with outstanding school charges should endeavor to pay up such charges on or before Tuesday, 31st October, 2017.

ii) Any student who fails to pay up his/her outstanding school charges after Tuesday, 31st October, 2017 would be considered to have voluntarily withdrawn from the University.

iii) The University portal would be closed by the end of October, 2017.
