Cristiano Ronaldo is the world’s best player’ words has taken a surge following his brace against Juventus in the Champions League Finals.

The Madrid star scored his 600th goal in the match which saw his side secure a historic second consecutive Champions League win at the Millennium Stadium in Wales
Accolades have been pouring in for the player after his exploits, one of which is Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez who says he deserves the Ballon d’Or more that anyone else.

The emphatic performance brought down the curtain on a memorable campaign for Zinedine Zidane’s men who also clinched La Liga, their first in five years, two weeks ago.

And Perez has said that the club’s star attacker would be a worthy recipient of a fifth Ballon d’Or
to bring him level with his eternal rival, Lionel Messi, Goal writes.

“There is no-one who deserves it more than Cristiano,” a delighted Perez told Atresmedia.

On a glorious night for Real Madrid, Casemiro and Marco Asensio were also on the score sheet to obliterate Mario Mandzukic’s stunning overhead kick that had Juve level at the break.

“We are very happy. We have won, we played very well,” Perez added.
