Chelsea midfielder, Willian recently lost his mother, Dona Zeze who died following a two-and-a-half year battle with cancer.

She will be buried today, October 13 in the Ribeirao Pires district of Sao Paulo.

‘I am following this battle while away from you. It is not what I wanted and if I could I would be by your side twenty-four hours giving you all the love, affection and power to get you through this. But unfortunately my profession does not allow me to do so,’ the soccer star said as he bid farewell to his mother who died aged 57.
