A top Juventus official has rejected claims that the Italian champions are in negotiations with Manchester United for the sale of Paul Pogba.
France midfielder Pogba has been heavily linked with a return to United in recent days for a world record fee of over £100m.
But Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has flatly insisted that there has been any move from United
“There has been no contact with Manchester United for Paul Pogba,” Marotta said on Italian television on Friday night.
Pogba left United in 2012 after rejecting an offer to stay from Sir Alex Ferguson. Then 19, Pogba was not happy that he had not been given enough playing time. He made only three senior appearances at United.
