Popular crossdresser Bobrisky has recently disclosed on Instagram that he fell victim to a romance scam, losing $990 to a fraudster he had been communicating with for several months.

The scammer, who initially claimed to reside in the United States and later said he had relocated to Canada, had frequently called Bobrisky, building trust and presenting himself as a romantic interest. The deception was revealed when a woman in the U.S. sought Bobrisky for an advertisement and offered a CashApp deposit.

Lacking a CashApp account, Bobrisky asked the individual he had been speaking with for his details. Immediately after receiving the $990, the scammer blocked him. Expressing shock at the betrayal, Bobrisky shared screenshots of their conversations and a photo of the alleged scammer, urging his followers to be wary of similar tactics.
