Nigeria’s First Lady, Patience Jonathan, on Monday, March 16, attended a rally in Ekiti State.

The attendees at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) women’s rally were treated to some of the First Lady’s interesting anecdotes.

Here are seven amusing things Mrs Jonathan said during the rally:

  1. What did they (Muhammadu Buhari/APC) forget in Aso Rock?

  2. If you vote the PDP and Jonathan, it would be better for you. If you vote the APC, you will go to prison.

  3. How can you jail somebody for 300 years? I’m not ready to carry food to my husband inside prison oh!

  4. They said there is no Office of the First Lady. Already, we know that there is no Office of the First Lady but there is wife of the President.

  5. If you drink APC, you will die.

  6. Nigerian women shine your eyes, don’t go for analogue, go for digital. PDP is digital, APC is analogue.

  7. Nigerian women shine your eyes o! Vote with what you have seen, who you already know and who has performed. If anyone is telling you change, they are deceiving you.
