5 Ships Laden With Petrol Arrive Lagos Ports

Five ships laden with Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol, have arrived at the Lagos Ports, waiting to discharge.
The Nigerian Ports Authority made the announcement in its publication – `Shipping Position’, – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.

The publication indicated that two other ships had arrived the ports waiting to discharge aviation fuel.
NPA noted that 27 other ships containing petroleum products, food items and other goods were being expected at the ports from May 12 to May 27.

It explained that other expected ships contained general cargo, bulk salt, bulk sugar, buck wheat, bulk gypsum, crude palmolein, diesel, base oil, kerosene, bulk charcoal and other containerised goods.

NAN reports that 20 other ships are at the ports discharging wheat, general cargo, petrol, sugar, bulk gypsum, Low Pour Fuel Oil, frozen fish, diesel and containerised goods. (NAN)
