Fourteen ships laden with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), otherwise known as petrol, aviation fuel, diesel and crude palm olein have arrived Lagos ports, waiting to discharge.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – `Shipping Position’, – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos.
The document also indicated that 11 of the 14 ships, waiting to berth, would discharge petrol.
NPA noted that 27 other ships containing petroleum products, food items and other goods were being expected at the ports from May 18 to June 6.
It explained that other expected ships contained general cargoes, bulk salt, bulk sugar, buck wheat, crude palm olein, bulk fertiliser, base oil, diesel, petrol, bulk gypsum, bulk charcoal and containers.
NAN reports that 16 other ships are at the ports discharging wheat, general cargoes, petrol, sugar, bulk gypsum, kerosene and containers. (NAN)
