It is quite common to hear people say green tea is good, and when asked why, they are unable to say anything because they are just following the trend.

Before you join this class of ignorant people, the following are the reasons why green tea is undeniably good for your health.

  1. Weight Loss- Due to a special ingredient found in green tea called polyphenol, green tea is able to burn fat at a high rate.

  2. Reduces the risk of heart disease and diabetes.

  3. Lowers cholestrol.

  4. Stops gum bleeding.

  5. Bloating.

  6. Mood- Green tea contains theanine, an amino acid that provides a relaxing and tranquilizing effect. However, it is recommended that your tea be hot as the warm temperature is also soothing.

  7. Contains anti-bacterial and anti-viral agents which are capable of treating anything.

  8. Prevents wrinkling, skin aging, and skin cancer.

  9. Increases your body’s metabolism.

  10. Improves digestion.

The one reason why green tea is able to be to have all these health benefits is due to the single fact that green tea is not allowed to ferment during procession whereas black tea is processed in a way that allows for fermentation.

So, throw out your black tea for green tea, you will not regret it.
