Egypt international Salah has been a revelation for the Reds since moving to Anfield in the summer, scoring 23 goals in all competitions in the opening months of the campaign.

But his stay on Merseyside could be short-lived, with Madrid keen to bring in a big name to counter Barcelona’s signing of Philippe Coutinho.

Jonny Evans West Brom

Manchester United have been asked to be kept updated on former defender Jonny Evans’ situation at West Brom, reports The Times.

Manchester City have held talks over a deal for Evans, while Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested his club will struggle to compete with the Premier League leaders for the centre-half.

Evans, who left Old Trafford for West Brom in 2015, remains of interest for his old club, while Everton and West Ham are also watching matters.

Javier Hernandez West Ham

Major League Soccer expansion side Los Angeles FC are interested in West Ham striker Javier Hernandez, according to the Evening Standard.

Hernandez joined the Hammers from Bayer Leverkusen for £16 million last summer, and West Ham would reportedly need to recoup their investment in order to sell the Mexican international.

The 30-year-old has yet to appear in La Liga this season, and Basaksehir manager Abdullah Avci said that Turan’s move back to his home country will be announced Thursday or Friday.

 Gomez open to Liverpool move

Alejandro Papu Gomez Atalanta

Alejandro Gomez would be willing to leave Atalanta to join Liverpool during the January transfer window, claims Tuttosport.

The total package is likely to land Sterling a sizeable increase, with City keen to start talks over a new deal for the winger in February.

 Ancelotti wanted to replace Wenger

Carlo Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti is a ‘serious candidate’ to replace Arsene Wenger as Arsenal manager at the end of the season, according to the  Evening Standard.

Wenger signed a new two-year contract in 2017, but Arsenal are concerned the long-serving Frenchman may decide to leave at the end of this season.

If he does, then Ancelotti, who was sacked by Bayern Munich in September, is a leading option to take charge, although the Italian is also a possibility for his former club Chelsea should Antonio Conte quit his Stamford Bridge post.

Madrid put Kepa deal on hold

Kepa Arrizabalaga Athletic Club

Real Madrid have put plans to sign Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga in January on hold, according to  Onda Cero, via AS .

Kepa reportedly has a problem with the second metatarsal in his right foot and surgery would rule the keeper out of action until March.

The 23-year-old would prefer to have treatment on the injury, rather than surgery, to ensure he is in the frame for Spain’s World Cup squad and that has prompted Madrid to delay finalising a deal.

 Juve raise Dybala asking price

Paulo Dybala Verona Juventus

Manchester United’s chances of signing Paulo Dybala have taken a hit, with the money Barcelona spent on Philippe Coutinho’s transfer convincing Juventus to raise their asking price, Tuttosport claim.

Lemar will cost at least £90m

Thomas Lemar Monaco

Andreas Christensen Chelsea

Andreas Christensen signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract with Chelsea, the club announced on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old defender has been a solid player for Antonio Conte’s side this season, making 22 appearances so far.
